This year, roughly one year since the last Sak Yant (tattoo) by Archarn Anek, I made the trip back to his office. There, I undertook a larger portion of the project, spending two days there. The first day was over seven hours under the needle, and the second day I spent between four and five hours under the needle. This video depicts the events of that first day, sharply abbreviated and under ten minutes to share with you. I learned alot more about the Ajarn this time, as I had the assistance of not one but three translators, including a monk and his own daughter. I also had my friend, Nick, from the USA with me, although the day proved long and I let him off the hook and let him go off to eat and shop. In this video I try to show a bit more about the process he uses to sterilize the needles, since I'm often asked about it. Once again, if you require an autoclave, you might as well forget about Sak Yant. I'm not aware of any temples or Ajarns that use them. World's Longest and Widest Box Girder Expressway Bridge

Bangna-Bangphli-Bangpakong Expressway, Thailand (BBBE) dubbed as the world's longest elevated expressway bridge (about 55-kilometre) and also the widest (27.2 meters) carrying 6 lanes traffic 3 in each direction, was built along the median of highway 34 from Bangna to Chonburi. This expressway is part of the networks of expressway planned by the Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (ETA) to ease the flow of traffic in and around the metropolitan Bangkok. Specifically, this superhighway is meant to serve the Eastern Seaboard Area and the soon to be completed Bangkok Second International Airport.

Apart from this 55 kilometers main expressway, there is also an additional of 26 ramps or about 40 kilometers in length, two elevated mainline toll plazas with surveillance buildings, 11 platforms for toll surveillance, two police stations, and associated at-grade works. The total bridge deck area is 1,900,000 m2. All these were completed at a record time of only fifty-three months overall construction period by employing a state-ofthe- art design and construction technique known as the "Precast Segmental Technology of Bridge Construction".

This turnkey project was undertaken by a joint venture company called JV-BBCD composed of Germany's Bilfinger + Berger and Thailand's Ch. Karnchang Public Company as the lead partners. These two companies havefor years been a part of Bangkok's implementation of networks of elevated expressways, now to a record total length of expressways built in and around the city of 132 km or 3,598,000 square meters of deck area or 5,854 spans total including this project.

Alignment and Foundation Design was done by the Asian Engineering Consultants (AEC) and the Superstructure and Column Design was done by the inventor of the Segmental Technology of Bridge Construction, Jean Muller International (JMI). The design of selected parts was reviewed by ACECOMS, AIT.

You can find the frequency of extreme motorbike and scooter note - I saw entire families commute on them, and we can not walk down the street without harassment is a motorbike taxi driver, who want to participate for a ride (this is probably shocking). The Pick-Up Song-Taew called a taxi, I think. Signs and lines, seem to work more like suggestions of current rules. My taxi driver on his way here from the airport was about threeTimes the speed limit and weaving in and out of traffic, sometimes going to shoulder with people who were too slow or prevent the turning point. Please note the following for the financial transfer:

1. Transfers of funds must be made in foreign currency only and not in Thai Baht.

2. Remittances must be sent in to your bank account in exactly the same name as that on the purchase contract.

3. Amounts transferred must be more than $20,000 in order to obtain a Tor Tor 3 form.

4. The purpose of the remittance must be stated on the remittance advice. This should be "For the purchase of a condominium"

5. Be sure that the developer or seller sends you a copy of the Tor Tor 3 for each of ;your remittances. If you do this, it will avoid future problems. Make sure that the Tor Tor 3 has been issued correctly.
